Sabancı Business School’s "Sustainability Talks," organized as part of the MGMT 301 course, will host Faruk Eczacıbaşı, a leading figure in the Turkish business world, on Thursday, December 4th.

Faruk Eczacıbaşı’s speech will take place in FENS G032 from 10:40–11:30. The event is open to students and all Sabancı University members interested in the topic.
Listening to Sustainability from Different Sectors
Designed as part of the MGMT 301 course, "Sustainability Talks" will host leaders from various sectors on campus throughout the semester, exploring the multifaceted impact of the concept of sustainability in the business world. These special sessions provide students with the opportunity to hear directly from industry professionals about the field implications of the strategic management perspective.
One of Turkey's Digital Transformation Pioneers: Faruk Eczacıbaşı
Faruk Eczacıbaşı stands out as one of the most influential figures in shaping Türkiye's digital transformation. A founding member and the current president of the Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV), Eczacıbaşı has been leading projects that have shaped the country's technology policies for many years.
Faruk Eczacıbaşı has led numerous projects aimed at accelerating digitalization, expanding e-government applications, supporting the transition to an information society, and fostering a social response to technology-based thinking. He also shared his visionary approach to technology, innovation, and society, developed in his book "Daha Yeni Başlıyor", with a wide audience. In his speech at Sabancı University, drawing on his expertise in informatics, he will address the intersection of sustainability with technology, the societal impacts of digital transformation, and the trends shaping the future of business.

The event will be open to MGMT 301 students, as well as all students across the university who are interested in this topic. Additionally, it will be announced on LinkedIn, allowing it to reach the entire Sabancı University community.
